Hello, my group consists of four people: Diogo Silva, João Oliveira, Luís Pereira and me, Marta Duarte. I am currently on the 3rd year of Multimedia Arts Bachelor Degree at Fine Arts University of Lisbon, while my fellow group members are Systems and Computer Engineering Master’s Degree students from Instituto Superior Técnico.
The game that this group will develop is called Requiem of Doom, it is a top-down shooter game targeted at teenagers and young adults. The base concept of this game is music, since the goal of the main character is to not only to recover his instrument which was stolen by the story’s villain, but also to save his band members and the whole humanity as they were all kidnapped and brainwashed.

The project is going well in on its way. All that's left to draw is; the scenarios, other views of the characters and instruments, the battery and some of the fans.
The main character is named Raxel and he's the guitar player of the band. Since his instrument was stolen from him, he must begin his quest with a simple ukelele. However, later in the game, after recovering his guitar, he will be able to switch between the two instruments.
The remaining characters are part of the band: the bass player, the drummer and the piano player.
The villain's name is Offkey. He will control the mind of the fans who will attack the main character of the game.
The main menu of the game is ready and we have two logos for it. However, at this point, we are unsure of which one to use.

Hello, everyone!
At the moment, our project is going well, and I'm already animating some of the drawings and back story. Even if some of it isn't finished, it is still usable as a prototype in the game. Some of the background, characters instruments and objects are already usable as well.

Work in progress. So far, the project is going well, and the only thing left to do is to animate the characters. Here’s the 4 background we’re going to use for the 4 levels:
1st level, where the game starts; 2nd level, in the middle of the game; 3rd level, in the middle of the game as well; and the 4th level, where the player is going to fight the last boss.

This will be my last post, since the demo for the game is finished and was presented in the MOJO event that happened on the May 30th. Since my latest post, character animations and some in game items were worked on. Here are a few screenshots of the game and some pictures from the event (unfortunately, I was caught with my back turned towards the camera). I would also like to add that I really enjoyed participating in this project and meeting my colleagues, since they were very comprehensive and patient. We had no trouble communicating, so the game advanced quite well. The MOJO event was a good experience because I got to try various prototypes of the games that my colleagues developed through the semester.
